MONDAY, JANUARY 30th

This was a long, but COOL day!
We checked out of The Grand hotel in Llandudno, Wales
at a very early 10:00am exit time.

Did some last minute shopping there,
and then off to final destination of Manchester
for an EARLY departure Tuesday morning.

On way to Manchester, we stopped back at Conwy Castle (sigh)
Then on to the walled town of Chester.
Saw another castle on the way, too, as well as the town of Rhyl,
where Mike Peters (Alarm.. duh) grew up. Cool!

Chester was a bit more modern than I expected, but still really lovely.
Would love to go back and really be able to explore!

Finally got to the Britannia Hotel in Manchester.
Wound up spending the night in the hotel bar.

Only got about 2 hours of sleep before having to wake up for our flight! Gah!

All in all, an amazing UK holiday!
